My name is Rodrigo, I was born in Santiago de Chile. I I got into the undergrad program in electrical engineering in 2011 at the University of Chile and now I am a student of magister in electrical engineering sciences at the same university.

During the undergrad program I collaborated in different research groups. I worked with Professor Diana Dulic of the physics department, analyzing break junction data to study the conductivity of certain molecules. I also worked with Professor Patricio Mena of the department of electrical engineering in antenna designs for radio astronomy.

Currently, I work at the computer intelligence laboratory in the electrical engineering department of University of Chile with Professor Pablo Estevez, Guillermo Cabrera, Francisco Förster among others. In particular, I work on detecting astronomical transient objects using deep learning techniques.
