I am an expert in formation and evolution of galaxies using both large databases from galaxy surveys and cosmological simulations.
Ph.D. in Astrophysics at Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile in 2012. I was a postdoctoral fellow at National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), the UC Centre for Astro-Engineering, and Universidad Catolica del Norte (UCN). I was also support astronomer and telescope operator of the MPG/ESO 2.2m telescope at La Silla Observatory for the Max Planck Institute for Astronomy (MPIA, 2014-2016), observer for the operations of APOGEE-2 South at Las Campanas Observatory (2016-2019), and Deputy Lead Observer of this project (2018-2019).[/fusion_text][fusion_text]Research Interests

Doctor en Astrofísica obtenido en la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile en 2012. Fui investigador postdoctoral en la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), del Centro de Astro-Ingeniería UC, y en la Universidad Católica del Norte (UCN).
