I am originally from the Canary Islands (Spain) where I studied Astrophysics. Since 2012, I have been postdoc at the Universidad de Chile, Universidad de Valparaíso and currently at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile with a Fondecyt grant. My research field is focused in Galactic archaeology and the formation process of the outer regions, the Galactic halo. In particular, I am interested in the likely accretion of globular clusters by our own Galaxy, the Milky Way and I design new methods to unveil unknown dwarf satellite galaxies.

Soy originario de las Islas Canarias (España), donde crecí y estudié Astrofísica. Desde 2012 he trabajado como Postdoc en la Universidad de Chile, Universidad de Valparaíso y actualmente como postdoc Fondecyt en la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Mi campo de investigación se centra en arqueología galáctica, principalmente en el proceso de formación de sus regiones mas externas, el halo galáctico. En particular, estudio la posible asimilación de cúmulos globulares por parte de la Vía Láctea y diseño nuevas estrategias para detectar galaxias satélite enanas en sus alrededores.
